Read our newsletter to see what we have been up to and what lies ahead.

Venue available for Hire

Yes, you can hire the space for your next party or product launch. The hire includes the DJ Set-up with Technics Decks, Denon CDJ's, Mackie Mixer and PA.  The room will take 50 people and there is a digital data projector available too.

Cool Site if you have or know any kiddies

Get a real art version of the littlies' artwork and move it off the fridge and onto the wall. Artkids convert simple drawings by children to unique and personal, handmade oil-paintings. Children stand a few inches taller, when they see their painting and parents are often surprised to discover that they have an artist in the family.  You could also use the ArtKids-concept in PR-campaigns, educational projects, trainings, marketing, special and personal gifts and in charity projects as everyone was once a child and relate to the images.

12 tribes #3 Collision Point - Saturday 21 July
For something a bit different for our second birthday, we incorporated our "Second Life" into the party.  SL virtual ivinylWe built a virtual ivinyl complete with decks, dancefloor, big screen & redbull fridge.  With the freedom of SL, we have also been able to build a skate park, basketball court, poker table and private beach. We are already streaming live audio of dj sets into Second Life at a number of different venues. See the images from the launch of the virtual ivinyl on 23/06/07. THe SL party was displayed on the big screen in the RL shop and video from the real party in the shop was played on the video wall in SL, so we were in a virtual loop combining both worlds and blurring the line between reality & virtual reality.

12 tribes #2 The Dirty Dozen
Photos at Teknoscape
Almost 100 people swung past ivinyl on 29th of July to wish us a happy 1st birthday.  Brad and Cath re-united the 12 tribes to celebrate the day and had 12 dj’s playing back to back for 12 hours.  Rakhim kicked off the marathon at 2 in the afternoon and was followed by Ratmata, Charlie Bucket and Marty McFly. The Fritz came in and took the pace up a notch with an electro set which was matched in intensity with a set from two thirds of the Nyquist Freqs - G and Buda.  Luckily Flex had some CD’s in his car, as he was asked to bridge the gap left by an MIA DJ.  Flex, G, Buda, the Fritz, Dlux and Cody broke ranks and had a bit of a mash up - showing why Ambar is the hottest club in town - before Jesse Jaymes took the reins and filled the floor in time for Roller’s favourite son Devo.  His brand of DnB was a big hit with the crew and had the place rockin’ for C-Boy who closed proceedings in Leederville before the hard core went down to Eternity at Heat to continue the party in the VIP room.  Salur played a strong Tech House set before Grunge wrapped up the 12 Tribes event with his dark breaks.
